Who We Are

Having M.E. can be an isolating, lonely, frightening experience.  Therapeutic counselling can sometimes help a person to cope with the affects of having this debilitating condition. This page is designed to answer some of the questions you may have about counselling, hopefully this will help you to make an informed decision about using the counselling service.
The counselling offered is telephone counselling as it is recognised that people with chronic illness and disability may find this easier to access.

Can I choose whether I have a female or a male counsellor?
Yes, you can request a female or male counsellor, and we will endeavour to meet your needs, however this is partially dependent on a counsellor of the gender asked for having a space on their case load.
